Current Work:

CWT

I am currently a Research Assistant at the Center for Wireless Telecommunications at Virginia Tech and working on an NSF Funded project for LMDS based "Testbed for High Speed End to End Communications in Support of Comprehensive Emergency Management" . I am working with Dr.Joseph Tront to build a 120 Mbps LMDS Modem Controller Card.

For more information on LMDS please visit the CWT LMDS Information Page

I recently built a 3 second Debouncer chip . The functional verification was done in VHDL and layout was done in the CADENCE   design environment. Post-Layout  SPICE extraction and simulation was performed using HSPICE and AvantWaves.

IISc"   CEDT

NDIS Protocol Driver Shim and Ethernet Network Analyser : I was a research intern at the Center for Electronic Design and Technology (CEDT) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) , Banglore , India.

I was a part of the LAn Traffic Analysis Group, and built a NDIS compatible Intermediate Protocol Driver Shim (VxD - Virtual Device Driver) for an Ethernet Card (NIC). A GUI based Network Analyser was written in C++ to study the performance of TCP/IP applications with Network as a parameter.
