- Intern SIEMENS AG India (July 1999 -May 2000)
- Designed an "Automatic light control system" for the
shop-floor. The project involved designing and implementing prototype
hardware card for the PC, front end using Visual basic and the back end
using C and Assembly.
- Responsible for designing the front and back end software.
- Network Designer for the K J
Somaiya College of Engineering.
- Solely designed and implemented a low cost network solution at the K J
Somaiya college of Engineering to provide Internet access to the students
and faculty.
- The project involved setting up and connecting 20 nodes to a Linux
server and then connecting the network to the internet.
- Intern Coates of India Ltd. (June - July 1998)
- Fully owned subsidiary of TOTAL Petroleum, France and the largest
Printing Ink manufacturing company in India.
- Member of the team responsible for computerizing and implementing the
inventory control and invoice system at the Mumbai Works.
- Project involved extensive use of Visual basic as the front-end and Ms
Exchange server as the back-end.

- Member of the Computer Society and the Systems, Man and Cybernetics

- Founder Member of the IEEE K J Somaiya College of Engineering Student
Chapter and Public relations officer (1998-1999).
- Secretary of the Electronics Engineers Students Association (EESA) at the
K J Somaiya College of Engineering.
HIGHLIGHTS OF TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES
- Recruited as Systems Engineer for Wipro
Technologies, one of the premier software firms in India (via
on-campus placements). Only six people out of a total class strength of 120
were selected by the company.
- Head of the Tech Committee at Abhiyantriki -98, an intercollegiate
technical event held in October-98.
- Presented a Seminar on "Network Security" At Abhiyantriki
98.
- Set up a TCP/IP based dialup network to provide free Internet Surfing to
participants at Abhiyantriki 98.
- Head of the Tech and The Planning & Logistics committee of 360
degrees, an intercollegiate event organized by the IEEE Bombay
Section.
HIGHLIGHTS OF EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
- Official Contingent Leader of the team, of the K J Somaiya College of
Engineering, which participates in all intercollegiate events.
- Actively involved in the college festival Symphony for three
years in various roles (Treasure hunt co-ordinator,Tech co-ordinator ,member
of publicity and sponsorship teams etc).
- Winner in many debates and elocution competitions.
