Introduction

NABE is a convenient way to backup Audio CDs and also a batch encoder/decoder to compress WAV files to a variety of formats including:

  • Musepack (MPC) 
  • MPEG Layer III (MP3) 
  • Monkey's Audio (APE) 
  • OGG Vorbis (OGG)

Release Notes for NABE 1.1 Beta
Date: 16th Feb 2002
  1. Support for encoding to OGG Vorbis format. 
  2. Improved UI to add files from multiple locations. 
  3. ID3 tagging (V 1.1 only) for all formats. 
  4. Custom arguments can be specified for encoding. 
  5. Added "Shutdown PC when done" option.
Known bugs/issues:
  1. This release has not been tested very well and hence you may experience instabilities.

  1. Batch Decoding support for all formats
