What is IFCM?
India for Christ Ministries (IFCM) was prayerfully launched in 1988, aimed at triggering a spiritual revolution in India. It is established under the mandate of our Lord: "The harvest truly is plenteous but the labourers are few". Matthew 9:37
IFCM is a team of committed men and women of God dedicated to reach millions in this vast country of India with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
IFCM is indigenous in structure and inter-denominational in ministry. It is registered as a Religious and Charitable Trust under the Government of Karnataka Act, with its headquarters in Bangalore.
Our Scriptural Mandate:
Our Scriptural Mandate comes from Matthew 9:35-38. The main task of IFCM is to preach and teach the Word of God in all the cities and villages of India with His compassion and multiply disciples in each place. Only through the process of multiplication can we reach our vast country with a population of almost a billion people.
Our Burden:
Our burden is to concentrate at the grass root level. A majority of our people in India live in 6,00,000 villages. That means we need atleast one radiant believer in every village. It is our earnest desire, longing and burden to go and preach so that the Lord may establish His witness in every village of India. To that end, IFCM is available to fulfil the great task and assist the church in India.
