About Ourselves |
| 'Expressions' Expressions began in 1986 as a modest attempt to bring out the latent
creative part which exists in each one of us to a certain extent. We wanted to see that
people from all walks of life and ages could learn to paint in mediums suitable for them.
Most of the classes offered in India generally are very rigid in their instruction, for
example; there are fixed batches, age limits etc. which deterred most people from taking
the plunge. What we had in mind was different, we did not want the student to be tied down
by time schedules and procedures. We have no age limits and batches here(we have had students from six
years onwards to seventy five), this is what we think attracts our students more than
anything else --Due to certain constraints now we have entry for ladies and children
only. Each student gets the individual attention they deserve and since regular
attendance is not compulsory they work at their own pace and continue from wherever they
have stopped. EXPRESSIONS |
