In-charge of execution of road and bridge works.- from 1971 to 1975. Assistant Engineer - Investigation & Planning for World Bank Projects. In-charge of Preparation of Estimates and Settlement of Tenders – from 1975 to 1978. Assistant Engineer - Bitumen Laboratory. In-charge of maintenance, Purchases, Research Schemes Operation and related activities - 1978 to 1981. Assistant Director – Bitumen and Aggregate Laboratory. In-charge of upkeep of laboratory, Consultancy, Research Schemes, Annual Reports and related activities – 1981 to 1983. Assistant Director – Concrete and Structures Laboratory. In-charge of Bridge Research Scheme, “Study on Expansion Joints in Road Bridges” and prepared State of Art Report and the Final Report for the research project carried out in Tamilnadu and Maharashtra States. – 1983 to 1986. Assistant Director – Bitumen and Aggregate Laboratory. In-charge of upkeep of laboratory, Consultancy, Research Schemes, Annual Reports and related activities – 1986 to 1991. Assistant Divisional Engineer – Inspection & Planning. In-charge of upkeep of Road Making Machineries and their procurements - 1991-1992. Assistant Director – Bitumen and Aggregate Laboratory. In-charge of Bitumen & Aggregate and Traffic & Transportation Divisions with Computer Center – 1999 to 2001.
